Restriction of Hazardous Substances

The European Union adopts the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive, which will restrict the use of certain substances in electrical and electronic products, including lead (Pb), mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, and certain halide-containing flame retardants. The directive applies to all electrical and electronic products, and their component parts, placed on the market after 1st July 2006.

RoHS / Lead Free Policy

Clere is committed to compliance with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive.

It was our intention to comply with the RoHS Directive prior to the 1st July 2006 implementation date for all products, and to enable us to achieve this, we worked closely with our supply chain to ensure they understood the regulations and shared our commitment.

We continue to ensure that all products we supply are compliant with the RoHS Directive.
