Sensing Across the Spectrum
The Melexis range of hall effect, pressure and IR Sensor ICs, all with either analogue or digital outputs and optional on-board microcontrollers are used for position, movement, pressure and acceleration detection. They have developed the world's first programmable sensor IC family that minimises discrete components and associated assembly costs, substantially simplifies the speed and complexity of design and increases reliability through high-level integration. Their micro-machining capabilities are used on an increasing number of sensor products including accelerometers, gyros and IR.
